Then, we go to work, scouring the web for the best prices (and best quality), local info, the ‘haps on the hops’ as they say, and everything we would do if we were planning travel for ourselves.
So far, we’ve been to: British Columbia, the Pacific Northwest (Washington coast, Portland, Bend, Ashland, Sandpoint, Missoula), San Francisco Bay Area, Marin, Sacramento, Sonoma County region, Los Angeles (Venice Beach and Hollywood are my faves), Mayan Riviera, Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita, Cancun, Tulum, Reykjavik (Iceland), Amsterdam (x2), London (x2), Zurich (x2), Bern, Cologne (Germany), Paris, Cape Town, Johannesburg, Swaziland, Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River), Montego Bay, Negril, the Florida Keys, Miami, the Everglades, Orlando, Disney World and Disney Land, Raleigh, Myrtle Beach, Laguna Beach, Santa Monica, Tahoe, San Diego, New Orleans, Austin, Houston, Denver, Leadville, Vail, Moab (UT), St. Louis, Santa Fe, Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Mount Vernon, Maui (Hana, Paia, Wailea), Kauai, Phoenix, Las Vegas (dare I say 3 times?)… and you wouldn’t believe the deals…
